Nepal Abroad is a news portal that aims to bring news stories from South Asia that are not necessarily available in the main stream media.

Started originally as a free newsletter serving the Nepalese expatriates in the Washington DC metro, newsletter subscription is now available upon request via email. Growing demands from our readers for regional news have encouraged us to make our presence online.

Through our newsletter we provide issues and news stories that are pertinent, and have impacts in the region, and through our online portal, we would like to assure the continuation of the same. We also hope to reach wider audience through this portal.

We have begun our online presence with a limited resource, and greatly appreciate relevant support from any individuals and institutions.
